They have a great big dog park.
It’s in a great location not far from downtown Saint Joseph. The park offers a good mix of activities and always feels safe. The dog park is nice to have, but could use some updating.
I am only reviewing the dog park. It is a great area for the dogs to run. The only problem are the irresponsible dog owners. Unfortunately, there are owners who don't clean up after their dogs and bring dogs who shouldn't interact with other dogs. My dog was attacked twice in a week's period and so was I. Both attacks were unprovoked and continued as I was walking out of the park with my dog in my arms. In one instance the owner was sleeping on a bench. In the other instance they were not watching their dog and on their phone. The dog was supposedly known to be aggressive.
It is unfortunate that we will not go back to the dog park. The good days cannot outweigh the bad.
Seems as though this park needs to charge for non residents, it's dirty and infested with riff raff from neighboring towns, otherwise there is a lot to enjoy there.
Very nice and clean park. I love how much space there is and how much equipment for the children. There is a dog park, ramps for bikes and skateboarding, basketball area and so much more. Love love love.
