We were passing though St Joseph and needed a place to stay for the night. A last minute call to the Duncan House and the owner, Andy, was able to secure us a room. Right from the start of our visit we were made welcome with the offer of wine and fresh baked treats. Andy is an awesome, talented host with an attention to detail. From the super comfy rooms to the superb locally sourced breakfast everything was perfect! The Duncan House will definitely enhance your visit to St Joseph!
My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Duncan House B&B. It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we weren't sure what to expect. Andrew instantly made us feel welcome and comfortable. He was very personable and gave us our space to enjoy our time in St Joe. The coffee and breakfast he made the next morning was one of the best we've ever had! We will make it a new tradition to visit Andrew & the Duncan Bed and Breakfast every year!! Would 100% recommend if you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway!
I came to town for business and the hotel my team was staying at was full so I booked the Duncan B&B, best decision ever! The owner, Andy, is extremely thoughtful, respectful and detailed. His home is welcoming, clean and comfortable. The sheets smell incredible and the food is gourmet, my favorite is the rhubarb jam! He even sent me on my way with a plate of baked goods for my team. I highly recommend!
My husband planned a little getaway weekend for my 26th birthday! He happened apon this B&B while Googling places to stay in St. Joseph’s. He hit the jackpot with this B&B!! :) They really thought of everything! We were welcomed with homemade bread and baked goods, warm apple cider and local wines to try. We stayed in the upstairs Beach Room. The rooms are very cute! The accommodations are tremendous! The bathroom looked newly remodeled and extremely clean! The whole place was very quiet and felt like home. They have a very nice two person hot tub outside that is very relaxing! We plan to go back with friends in the summer when we can enjoy the nearby beach! I truly recommend everyone to check this B&B out if you’re looking for a place to stay!
The Duncan house is a great way to enjoy the city of St. Joseph. We first walked into the aroma of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, which were to die for, and bottles of wine to chose from. We were so pleased with our stay in the Michigan room. This room has such a warm feel, and everything to the Antique Michigan map on the walls to the four post bed. The owner is a delight to talk to and a wonderful baker, and he will steer you in the best direction for a fun night in the town! Thank you Andy!
