This is a well stocked and well run locally owned hardware store. The employees are always helpful and they have several employees who have vast knowledge of various repair methods and techniques for home related issues. Joe Pater, The owner of the store, is often on the floor himself and he works to take care of their customers.
Great local hardware store with very helpful friendly staff and free popcorn.
I prefer this local store to the big box stores. At times when the item I needed wasn't in stock or if a big box stores price was lower, Pater's True Value would match the lower price. They also can order many hard to find items such as unusual filter sizes, etc.
Needed some car keys made and copies of house Keys, let's just say.. They Worked Great!
Always ask if need help locating items,. I don't shop other hardware stores unless forced by time or by product
